Dinosaur buffs, head to the Gallery of Mineralogy and Geology of the Jardin des Plantes, where you can meet an actual Tyrannosaurus Rex!

The 67 million-year-old skeleton of Trix, a female measuring 12 metres in length, is the third most complete T. Rex specimen ever found. This queen of the Cretaceous was excavated in the US state of Montana. Her 8 tonnes of bones are in a remarkably well-preserved state.
