On the centenary of his passing, the Orsay Museum pays tribute to Edgar Degas with this brand- new exhibition based around the relatively little-known work of the writer, poet and thinker, Paul Valéry.
Friends for 20 years, their mutual support and creative interactions gave rise to unique works. Paintings, sculptures and sketches are linked to the poetic and sensitive essay on the artist by the writer.
