At Night I Am Robert de Niro

What would happen if, overnight, you decided to disappear from the world around you? If you decide to exist, but not to speak, not to move, to let things occur without reacting.  

“I smile but I do not speak. The friends kiss and go away, clean, load the dishwasher, brush their teeth, and sleep. I still have not moved from my chair. I have not spoken. Nobody saw anything. I was gone.”

The sensation of being forgotten taken to an extreme. This is the concept behind the challenging and resolutely contemporary new play by Elsa Granat staged at the Theatre La Loge.
