Correct Dress: When Clothing Causes a Scandal

Correct Dress: When Clothing Causes a Scandal

Since December 1st, the Museum of Decorative Arts has hosted a brand new exhibition devoted to scandalous fashion.

From women's pants to men's skirts; from mini-skirts to blue jeans, this thought-provoking exhibition retraces the scandals that have marked pivotal points in fashion history. Fashion has often transgressed the established social order, broken the dress code norm and upset the moral values of the day.

The exhibition looks at fashion’s long and often controversial history from the 14th century to today.
