For more than 30 years, no major exhibition in Paris has been devoted to the painter Camille Pissarro (1830-1903), but this wonderful retrospective more than compensates for that. Until July 9th the Luxembourg Museum presents more than one hundred paintings, drawings and engravings by the Impressionist and Neo-Impressionist. Nature Regained deals with one of the least studied periods of the artist's career.
Through these remarkable works we discover the political leanings of the artist and his distinctive mature style.
