Fashion and Women 14-18

Fashion and Women 14-18

To celebrate its reopening, the Forney Library presents a fascinating exhibition, Mode et Femmes, dealing with women and fashion during the First World War.

The years 1914 to 1918 saw a rapid evolution in clothing, changes in manufacturing, women in new roles and fashion becoming sleeker as it grew away from cumbersome and impractical 19th century crinolines.

Don’t miss it.
