A new exhibition at the Maillol Museum until July 15th focusses on the Japanese-French painter, Léonard Tsugouharu Foujita. ‘Painting in the Roaring Twenties’ features hundreds of works from private and public collections covering the artist’s Montparnasse period.
The exhibition traces the life and career of an artist evolving between different cultures. With a unique and seemingly naïve style, he created wonderful pictures portraying his favourite subjects, including cats and women.
