The Museum of Romantic Life, tucked away in the middle of the 18th arrondissement, offers its visitors a delightful museum housed in a beautiful building with almond green shutters, set in a beautiful garden with wrought iron chairs and tables. The museum is devoted to the painting and literature of the 19th century, and the Romantic period in particular. The ground floor displays various mementoes of the writer, George Sand.
