Historic and magnificent, it’s a wonderful place to see and photograph!
Notre-Dame Cathedral is one of the most remarkable examples of Gothic architecture to be found in France or indeed anywhere in Europe. This masterpiece, one of the most famous symbols of the capital, is located on the Ile de la Cité, an island in the Seine. Although built over the course of two centuries, its western facade is a masterpiece of architectural balance. The two rose windows adorning each arm of the transept are among the largest in Europe.
Don’t miss the spectacular view of the City of Light’s many landmarks from the top of this great monument!
