Located in the chic Passy district, the Maison de Balzac is a museum entirely dedicated to the great French novelist and playwright. The museum exhibits numerous artefacts such as manuscripts, illustrations and original editions inside Balzac’s former residence. This is the actual house in which he wrote his magnum opus The Human Comedy from 1829 to 1850.
The museum presents regular exhibitions and temporary events around the writer. A unique and intimate way to learn more about Honoré de Balzac.
