For the 500th anniversary of the birth of the Italian painter Tintoretto, the Luxembourg Museum is presenting an exhibition looking at the first 15 years of his career.
Birth of a Genius takes the artist from his ambitious beginnings to becoming a notable exponent of the Renaissance school. The many paintings on display reveal the talent of Tintoretto, his style, use of light, audacity and incredible diversity.
