The first temporary thematic exhibition to be offered by the Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Paris since its opening a year ago. Yves Saint Laurent: Dreams of the Orient will present about fifty haute couture designs inspired by countries such as India, Japan and China.
It was through his ‘imaginary’ journeys that Saint-Laurent managed to create these remarkable exotic pieces. His dreams of the orient resulted in the creator bringing us a very particular vision of Asia, one that is both literal and fanciful.
