The autumn always brings major new exhibitions. Not to be outdone, the Petit Palais presents The Art of Pastel from Degas to Redon, a superb collection of nearly 150 works created by the great masters. Auguste Renoir, Paul Gauguin, Mary Cassatt, Edgar Degas and more are gathered to present the history of the main artistic movements of the 19th century in works rendered in pastels.
Covering techniques, styles, and conservation, this exhibition will dazzle you with these works that cannot be permanently displayed due to their light-sensitive fragility.
